When you purchase a WorkPlayEngage game, we copy a master Google Sheets template into your Google Drive using Google OAuth. This means:
The game sheet belongs to you — it lives in your Drive
We share it with you as an Editor so you have full control
We use a service account to write initial configuration data (your company name, game settings) into the sheet at setup time
After delivery, your sheet operates independently — we have no ongoing access to read, modify, or delete it
The only Google data we retain is your email address (for license validation and support) and your Sheet ID (so the Player Portal can connect players to the right game).

4. Google Drive & Your Data
WorkPlayEngage is a product of Dieza Publishing. We built this platform to make office games simple, fun, and zero-hassle for HR teams. Part of that promise is being straightforward about data — what we collect, what we don't, and why.
This policy applies to workplayengage.store and all WorkPlayEngage products, including Baby Pool and any future games.
2. What We Don't Collect
We do not collect, store, or have access to:
The contents of your Google Sheet game — it lives in your Google Drive, not ours
Employee personal information entered into your game
Payment card numbers or banking details
Any data from players beyond what they enter in the Player Portal
1. What We Collect
When you purchase a game:
Your name and email address (via Stripe checkout)
Your company name and admin name (entered at checkout)
Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe; we never see your card number, CVV, or full payment details
When you use the Player Portal:
Display name, email address, and password (hashed — we cannot read it) that you create when registering
Your game guesses (birth date, time, height, weight)
When you visit our website:
Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) via Hostinger's hosting platform
No tracking pixels, no ad networks, no behavioral profiling
11. Contact
We may update this policy as our product evolves. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we'll notify active license holders by email.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use the information we collect only to:
Deliver your purchased game (copy the template to your Google Drive and send your admin email)
Register you in our License Registry to validate your game license
Respond to support requests you initiate
Send transactional emails related to your purchase (no marketing emails without your consent)
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Ever.
6. Data Retention
Purchase records: Retained in our License Registry for the duration of your license (1 year) plus 90 days for support purposes
Player Portal accounts: Retained within your Google Sheet, which you control. You can delete player data at any time via the Admin Sheet
Email logs: Retained by Resend for up to 30 days
Website logs: Retained by Hostinger per their standard policy
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
Access the personal data we hold about you
Correct inaccurate data
Delete your data (note: your Google Sheet and its contents are in your control — delete them directly from your Drive)
Opt out of any future marketing communications
To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@workplayengage.store. We respond within 2 business days.
8. Cookies
workplayengage.store uses minimal cookies:
Essential cookies — required for the site to function (set by Hostinger)
No advertising cookies
No cross-site tracking
We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any behavioral advertising technology..
9. Children's Privacy
WorkPlayEngage is designed for use in professional workplace settings. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us at support@workplayengage.store and we will delete it promptly.
